Treatments & Prices
New Patient Appointment
Your first appointment will involve a thorough assessment and will include questions about your medical history, current medication and other relevant information which could affect your treatment, such as lifestyle and family history. An examination of the blood flow and sensation in your feet will be carried out, followed by any treatment you may need on nails, skin or verrucas. This first appointment will take slightly longer than usual to allow time for the necessary assessments and history taking.

Existing Patient Appointment £49
Regular foot care appointments begin with examination of your feet and discussion of any concerns with you. Toenails are cut and shaped, all hard skin or corns are removed and deep moisturising foot lotion is applied. Other treatments are carried out as necessary and foot care advice is given.
Existing Patient Verucca Appointment £40
Verrucas are caused by a virus and affect most people at some point in their life. Any verruca treatment aims to stimulate your body's own immunity to fight off the virus, so it will take more than one appointment to achieve results. A number of different treatments are available and these will be discussed and agreed with you at your appointment. If the treatment is for a child under 10 years old please call me to discuss before booking the appointment.
Verucca Needling £350
Lynne is one of a limited number of podiatrists in the UK to administer the effective `needling` technique for Verrucae. The theory behind needling is to damage the infected epidermal tissue to invoke a controlled inflammatory response which stimulates an immune response and clears the virus. The treatment has been in successful use for over 40 years. It is different from a routine verruca treatment in that it usually involves only one treatment. Please see the separate page on Verruca Needling for more information
Nail Surgery
(One toe / Two toes) £375/£425
Following a consultation appointment, ingrown toenails which cannot be managed conservatively can be partially or fully removed using a minor surgical procedure under local anaesthetic. A chemical is usually applied to prevent re-growth. Follow up appointments for redressing and to check healing are also included.
An ingrowing toenail (known as onychocryptosis) punctures the flesh of the toe, causing pain and bleeding - sometimes resulting in infection. Although usually affecting the big toe, ingrown nails can also affect other toes.
Consultation £58
A consultation appointment allows you to discuss your particular area of concern and will include asking you for full details of the problem including any signs & symptoms, when it occurs, where it occurs & the frequency of it. Appropriate diagnostic tests may be used and a full discussion and explanation of any condition diagnosed or discussed will take place. A consultation fee will apply.
Payment may be made in advance via online booking for first appointments, or by credit or debit card on the day for existing patients.
